I can see having the music layers separated and accessible makes for quick and precise transitions when you build the video portion.  Saves some keyframing time right there.  

I think more VJ's should work personally with musicians.  Beeple just happens to be a two headed monster.  Great video!  Make a DVD and you'll afford that hardware.</description>
