Thanks, also, for your shout-out to ColdCut—always good to include an historical reference (1998 or so, right?).

But . . . so, the timeline's not going away any time soon, yes? (and obviously, also, the aesthetic of 'looping' – - find that old, great, Herbert Brun article from Keyboard Magazine in the '80's: he says it so much better than I)

And one more thing: I really appreciate the dada approach to typography (that damn history again!). You mention 'surrealist painters' , which is OK, but you need to support that a bit more. Just keepin' it real, as they say.

Do keep up the fine work, though!

first up: dvi-mixer isn't dead, i've just been buried, away, and life being life people are busy when i'm not and vice versa. good news: the controller is being shaped by hardware genius shawn bonkowski. bad news: HDCP on modern macs. watch this space, honest!

with that out the way, its worth reading the full project page linked above. hopefully the documentary can be expanded with a few more pieces and their creator's motivations/insights. and if you're interested in the interface…. so am i!
